The VCU Department of Neurology welcomes Jessica M. Johns, M.D., as an assistant professor in the vascular and critical care division of neurology. Dr. Johns, a neurocritical care fellow at the University of Virginia, joined VCU on July 11, 2022.
Dr. Johns completed her residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, where she had the opportunity to provide care to the urban and underserved population of Detroit. Dr. Johns looks forward to continuing her passion for serving underrepresented minorities here at VCU to foster an inclusive and rewarding environment for patients and staff.
When she is not working, Jessica enjoys baking, hiking with her dog, collecting bourbon, reading mystery and suspense novels, and crocheting.
